Frank Isola: Carlos Tevez needs to get back to work
Frank Isola: Carlos Tevez needs to get back to work
Carlos Tevez belongs on a soccer field and not the back of some milk carton under the heading, “Missing Superstar: Last seen months ago at Etihad Stadium.”
The Argentinean striker is too young, too talented and too famous to be wasting away while his current employer tries to work out the best deal for the club. With any luck, Tevez should be back at work within a few weeks plying his trade for AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain or Corinthians.

Arsenal – Wolves: 1-1
Liverpool hit out at FA following eight-match suspension
Liverpool have reacted with fury to the decision to hit striker Luis Suarez with an eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.
The Uruguay international will remain available to the Anfield outfit as they consider an appeal against the verdict, or until the outcome of any further hearing.
Given the wording of the statement issued by the Merseyside outfit to the judgement of the FA’s Independent Regulatory Commission, it appears almost certain that they will not be accepting the verdict.
The Reds continue to offer the former Ajax forward their full and unequivocal support, while also unleashing an unprecedented attack on English football’s governing body.
